June Keurboom Park Association newsletter
Winter is well upon us in Keurboom Park. At the Association's Annual General Meeting on 25 May, Jonathan Sydow was elected as the new chairperson, succeeding Phil Flockton.
The June edition brings the biggest news in years on the borehole project: the City's Catchment, Stormwater and River Management department has confirmed there are no constraints on installation, with a geological survey showing ample water of good quality. Phil Flockton also writes about Keurboom's growing forest—over one hundred newly planted trees alongside last year's plantings—and invites you to name our resident owl pair by 13 July.
Save the date for the third Keurboom Ultra on Sunday 26 July at the Gary Kirsten Oval. To read Phil's articles on the Cape Mole Rat, park updates on chameleons and sedges, donation details, and more, see the full June newsletter.
